Press Release December 2006 - School Media Associates donates videos to hurricane stricken school district.

School Media Associates announced today that they have donated over 300 educational videos to Pass Christian School District in Pass Christian Mississippi. The instructional videos covered a wide range of topics, subject areas, and grade levels.

A rural gulf coast community of approximately 6,500 residents, Pass Christian was virtually obliterated by Hurricane Katrina's 28-foot storm surge on August 29, 2005. Approximately 80 percent of the community's residents are still living in FEMA trailers or with family and friends in surrounding areas.
